K Series Kevlar Gloves
Available in Mitt, One-Finger Mitt, and Five-Finger Glove styles. Retains flexibility when continually exposed to high heat. Also available in Aluminized backed styles. The Kevlar fabric is circular knit and knapped offering added heat, cut and puncture resistance.
F Series Flextra Gloves
Also available in all three styles. Flextra and “ZF” are proven heat resistant fabrics that can withstand temperatures up to 1000 C. When applications demand protection from direct contact or near proximity to concentrated high heat, these fabrics go to work for you.
Al-Coats
Aluminized Rayon Coats available in three lengths. The ability to insulate, provide 95% heat reflection and guard against molten splash, make the Smelko Aluminized High Heat coats and accessories popular in Foundries, Steel Mills, Chemical and Manufacturing Plants.
Aprons
Aluminized Rayon aprons provide upper and lower body protection against radiant heat and molten splash. 24″ width, available in 36″, 40″ and 44″ lengths. For welders, we also make these aprons with options to attach cape sleeves.
Spats
Aluminized Rayon Spats with Velcro (or dome snap) closure. Provide 90% radiant heat reflection. Available in 8″ and 13″ shin heights. These spats are also made in Leather with standard lengths of 6″, 8″ and 13″.
Arm Guards
Aluminized Rayon sleeves with expandable elastic closure. 18″ length with leather thumb loop. Also available with adjustable shoulder strap. We also make these sleeves in Kevlar and Leather. Our welders Cape Sleeves are commonly 12″ long and all seams are fully welted. Sizes S-XXL. Includes all snaps for using with cape sleeve option.
All of our welding clothing is made from top quality chrome-tanned side split cowhide leather. THe leather remains supple and does not harden after heating like lower grade imported garments. Generally available in blue, tan, or pearl grey. Please specify colour at time of ordering. Most items are also available in flame retardant cotton and flame retardant denim.
